Chatting Around the Christmas Tree (ep 12) – Christmas Dinner is WRONG. Here’s What We’d Eat Instead

Chatting Around the Christmas Tree (ep 12) – Christmas Dinner is WRONG. Here’s What We’d Eat Instead

Welcome back to “Chatting Around the Christmas Tree!” Today, we’re putting the staff on the spot with a question that gets to the heart (and the stomach) of the holidays: If you could make any dish an official Christmas staple, what would it be?
Join us for a fun conversation about the foods that remind us of home, the traditions our adult kids still demand, and why Santa might actually prefer a chocolate-covered bowl of ice cream over cookies.
We love sharing these moments of our lives with you as we count down to the second-best Christmas ever!

Chatting Around the Christmas Tree (ep 11) – What’s Your Secret Favorite Holiday Movie?

Chatting Around the Christmas Tree (ep 11) – What’s Your Secret Favorite Holiday Movie?

We all have that one Christmas movie we love but are a little embarrassed to admit to. Today, the Church @ 434 staff is getting vulnerable! From “mushy” Hallmark romances and Bill Murray’s irreverent classics to Muppets and “shoot-em-up” holiday heists, we’re revealing the movies that make our holiday list (even if we watch them alone with a moose cup of eggnog).
What is YOUR secret Christmas movie? The one you don’t want anyone to know you like?

Christmas Shoppe Series

Christmas Shoppe Series

Step into the “Christmas Shoppe” this holiday season! In this four-week series, we will visit a different themed shop each Sunday to connect everyday festive experiences with the deeper truths of our faith. From the warmth of the Coffee Shoppe to the wonder of the Toy Shoppe, the wisdom of the Book Shoppe, and the generosity of the Candy Shoppe, we will explore how the sights and sounds of the season point us toward community, joy, and the ultimate gift of God’s love through Jesus Christ.

The Candy Shoppe – Christmas Shoppe (Session Four)

The Candy Shoppe – Christmas Shoppe (Session Four)

It is the Sunday before Christmas. Our Christmas Shoppe this morning is The Candy Shoppe. There’s something magical about a candy shop at Christmas. The colors. The smells. The joy. Candy doesn’t solve life’s problems—but it reminds us that life is meant to be sweet. Christmas is far more than ornaments and decorations, it is about how we express our own love for Jesus as we celebrate His birth. The characteristics of God’s love are like the ingredients found in the best of candy and so today, in our visit to The Candy Shoppe we find the true meaning of Christmas all over again.
