It is Sunday on a Thanksgiving weekend. This week has been one where people have traveled, connected with family and friends, eaten more than they should have, and hopefully spent some time giving “thanks.” The time at the table we experienced this week is a great way to move us into the Christmas season, but before we push away from the table too quickly – there is something else we need to do. This worship experience today gives us time to do just that.
We have been thinking about taking the ride of a lifetime – the adventure of the eternal life that Jesus has called us to take. This study is the conclusion of the series. IN some ways we come full circle as we see that eternity is now in session and we are to be living it in the here and now. Get ready – the ride continues – you can’t quit now!

But for those who know Jesus, there is no mystery at all, we realize that Christmas comes and gives us a realistic way to look at life.
It does not say – “if we just cheer up we can make the world a better place.” It doesn not suggest that “we can fix things if we try hard enough.” Instead Christmas gives us a poerful reminder that “there is hope.” And that is very good news.
So this series admits, “I need a little Christmas now…” Get ready for the holiday rotation of Mid-Week.

In our series, we are discovering a great deal about what eternal life is really about. If living for Jesus is what we are supposed to be doing, then how are we ever going to be able to do it?
