A punt in football is not merely a routine play; it’s a strategic maneuver that can tip the scales in a game by controlling field position and setting the stage for crucial defensive and offensive decisions. In a nutshell, the point is to get the ball and the other team away from your end zone so they cannot score points successfully. In our series Fear Factory, we have been looking at some real, helpful, and useful ways to keep fear, anxiety, and angst out of our lives. In some ways – we are trying to get it as far away from us as possible so it cannot hurt us. So today, we open up the Fear Factory again and discover how to Punt the BPV. If you can do this, fear is easier to manage. No kidding!

We are looking at how we handle the Fear Factory of the world around us. It produces fear or things that we could be fearful of, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It can be overwhelming. In this study today we see the importance of taking our hands off of fear. Now, that is easy to read but not that easy to live. So realistically, how do we make that happen? The answer can be found in The Word and so we go to the Word to find out how to get our hands off of fear!

When is enough actually enough? Today we begin a perilous journey into The Fear Factory and tackle the stuff that often leaves us fearful, stressed, sleepless, and suffering. It begins when we are honest with ourselves and willing to admit that “enough is enough”… and when we do we make a discovery…that if we will remember it….changes everything! This discovery will change our lives, change our minds, change our hearts, and change the way we see and function in the world. It is that big and that amazing…but it can only happen when we are willing to say “enough is enough!”
