Bring on Tomorrow is our current series and we are discovering how God has created us to live a life loaded with blessings! That is exciting but it is also very important that we make sure we understand the responsibility of how to best live with those blessings. In some ways the answer is hidden in plain sight, but we do need to pay attention. If you are ready to be blessed, then this is what you have to know.
You may have noticed, you may have missed it, you may have been wide awake, or you may have been asleep for it. Where you realize it or not, last night became this morning and tomorrow arrived at midnight. As a person trying to live life, that means that what we do with today matters. After all, you were given it to live… and what we do today gets us ready for the next and the next. When we see how God has blessed us we can’t waste a day… so let’s get ready to Bring on Tomorrow!

We all know what an elephant in the room is…it is a truth, that everyone notices, but no one wants to talk about! This series has taken us on a tour of some pachyderms and allowed us to talk about them and deal with them using Biblical truth. The series comes to an end today with one more elephant – you know it, you have seen it, it is the irresistible impossible elephant. It is that elephant that is so enormous that you know whatever you are trying to do is going to be …. Impossible. Yet, just like every other elephant we have looked at, we can discover that God has a way and a plan for us to tackle the impossible things in our lives.

You…that’s right you…are created in the image of God.
The image of God is who we are as human beings – it is our most basic, original calling… sadly, we live in a culture that seems intent on destroying and undercutting this basic foundational truth about life itself. As a result, followers of Jesus and the church sometimes get caught not knowing what to say, how to respond, and how to share love in a world where creation seems up for grabs. It does not have to be that way.
