In “There” we have been looking at the importance of living our lives anchored to the Word of God. As we choose to live life according His plan we begin to discover His way. The journey He has for us is exciting but we must also be aware that not everyone we meet wants us to get to the place God wants us to be. This study is a reminder not to be distracted and lose your forward progress.
In our series called “There” we have determined – You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.
You move from where you are – to There – and when you get there, that is the now you are called to live. The Bible gives us some practical advice on how to move forward and make progress in life. This session explores that and hopefully gives you some tools to help you as you make real forward progress.
Here we are at the start of new year. As the days stretch out before us the question always wanders across our minds and hearts… what does this year hold? What is going to happen next? Will I be ready? How do I get ready? How do I get from here to there?

Here we are, one day after Christmas. The hype, the hurry, the hectic pace of getting ready has passed and now all that remains are unwrapped packages, disassembled bows, and the memories of the day. Hopefully your celebration of Christmas was filled with joy and wonder. Today as we worship, we are going to be taking a few moments to remember what happens now – what happens next – when Christmas is over…what should you do? It will be another moment to add one more memory to this year’s Christmas fun.
