As we have been spending time in the series – 1090 Legacy Lane, we have discovered that you establish your legend by what you do and you establish God’s legacy by who you are. What impacts your legacy is the 90% of life that happens after the events and circumstances unfold in our world. So here is the question for each of us. Wouldn’t it be great if as we unpack our lives we find joy? In every situation, wouldn’t it be great to learn to unpack joy? Is that something that you need? If so – the great news is that it is available when we learn to choose wisely.

Legacy Lane is an amazing place to live. We are discovering the difference between being legendary and having a legacy. Today we stop at a little café or restaurant, we’ll call it a canteen. But this canteen is one what you will want to visit often and keep returning to. It is the Contentment Canteen. Don’t confuse contentment with laziness or inactivity. Contentment has everything to do with living life with peace. People who live out a legacy are people who are at peace. How about you? Do you need to spend some time in the Contentment Canteen?

How would you like a new address? Sure that is a silly question, but in this series we are going to be moving forward in our journey of faith. As we do, we are going to discover a place that some of us have never even considered residing in. The meaning and location are important and today we begin moving through the sludge to get there. Why? Simple – The sludge can slow you down – so we need a nudge to escape the sludge…consider this the nudge.

We have kicked off the year with the UN series. The feedback has been amazing and God has used it to stretch and challenge each of us. Today we wrap up the UN series by adding one more “un” to our inventory of how Jesus has called us to live. The reality for all of us is that when Jesus is calling us to live ‘un” – He is calling us to give Him the complete and total control of our life. When He is in control, you are in essence – Out of Control. And well, that is the title of the final study in our UN series. Get ready to get out of control!

We are entering the home stretch of this series on living UN. Hopefully you are putting the lessons we have learned into your life in some practical ways. If not, this is where our UNs start colliding into a lifestyle. Unflustered, Unshocked, Unburdened, Unforgettable, and today we add a new UN to the mix – Unperturbed !
It is easy to let this get away from us. We often find ourselves all worked up, hyped up, messed up, and fired up because (as we have already established in this series) the world is a mess – And we simply don’t know what we should do. So our inaction, our lack of action, or our incorrect action leaves us worried. It is time to choose to lose the worry and refuse to lose our lives!
