We have been exploring familiar stories and paying attention the sudden plot twists in them…as we have done so, we have been learning some life shifting lessons that are bringing new meaning to old stories. Once again today, we go to a miracle that is familiar but not as familiar as the one similar to it – Jesus once again feeds a crowd of people and as He does so, teaches us some amazing lessons once again – so Bready or Not, Here I Come is going to plunge you into the pages of Scripture as we discover the bread of life.

This is perhaps the most famous miracle in all of Scripture – and to tell the truth it is spectacular! However, if you take a closer look, not only is it amazing but the subtle plot twists leave those who are willing to really see what is happening here forever changed. Today we look for them and discover what The Twist can teach us about Jesus and about our own lives – this story is about a lot of things, but it is more than just a lunch.

We kick off a new series today called “Plot Twist” where we jump into what are some familiar stories about Jesus. However, this look at familiar stories is one where we are paying extra attention to the sudden plots twists that happen.
Believe it or not, when the plot twists in each of these stories there is something important for us to learn. Even better than that, each lesson drives us forward into the calling that God has for each of us in our lives. Today we begin with an unexpected series of events that we not so random….

In our Jurassic Ark series we have been discovering some amazing creatures in the Bible. Most importantly in them, we have seen how we are not created for extinction but instead to survive and thrive. In this session we find “The Monster” and there is a very strong possibility that you will dig up something from Scripture that you have never seen before…and find that what we learn from this creature gives us guidelines for discovering how to live real life.
