We live in a faith filled world. That statement might surprise you but it shouldn’t. Everywhere we go we find people who are putting their faith in something, anything, and everything. They all do it, although they might deny it. Our culture if full of faith but living faithless. We are called, by God to be different. Having real faith in a faith filled faithless world in something else altogether. In a culture when our backs seem to be against the wall, what do we need to know and do to make sure we don’t disappear and drown in a sea of good intentions and inaction? Today we make some discoveries and add a few bricks that will help us all.

It is easy to get weary from the challenges we face. It is common to get wounded by the battles we find ourselves in. It is confusing to figure out a world that is spinning out of control. If you are not careful, the struggles will suck the life out of your life. You feel like you are out of space, out of room, and out of time – before you know it you have hit the wall. How did you get there? It wasn’t on purpose, but understanding how we hit walls is essential in turning, placing your back against the wall – so you can push off of it and move forward.

We are striving to see the importance and value of each day as a follower of Jesus. When we do, we begin to understand the reason we have for living. The purpose of life is not arrive safely at death-risk is our calling. And God will call us to take steps of faith that are not only good for us, but help mold us into the person He uses to impact the world.
