Here is a bit of news that is not news – Life is tough. Our series is challenging us to see how God can work in our lives each day. We are finding that if live each day to the fullest for Him, there is a richness, satisfaction, and depth that we crave. But the reality of the world is that it is constantly tumbling, crumbling, and humbling and we have to discover God at work in it. The way we do anything will become the way we do everything. So plan on doing it right.

Seizing the power of each day is essential for each of us a followers. While it is not complicated it does involve us making a choice. God can be trusted to do the super, we have to undo what comes natural and when we do, the supernatural can happen.

In many ways it seems like it was just yesterday. The horror of the terrorist attacks gripped the world on September 11, 2001. As a nation mourned with shock and grief, we discovered that as only God can do, something amazing emerged from the tragedy. As a nation we have promised we would never forget. Today in this time of worship, we remember, and rediscover some things that should shape our lives today. This will be a reflection service like none you have attended before.

We are traveling through a series called Today, Tomorrow, Together and discovering the power of living the life that God has for us as it unfolds. Maximizing each day God gives us adds a depth, richness, and quality to life that many or most desperately desire but rarely find. But once you get a glimpse of it, you are not satisfied with anything less. The study today takes us into a very familiar story (and for us here at The Church @ 434, one that we looked at not too long ago) But it unfolds for us today and gives us some life lessons in how we are to respond to Jesus.
