Risk taking is an essential ingredient in stepping into the life that God has for you. In our Gotta Go series we are challenging ourselves with the truth we find in God’s Word on how to move forward in our journey of faith. Last week we looked specifically at some traps that we need to avoid that always trip us up when we get serious for Jesus. Today we look at some things that we have to make a priority in our world if we are ever going to get to the places and do the things that God has in store for us on our adventure of faith.

We are in an exciting series called “Gotta Go” where we are recognizing the need to move forward in our journey of faith. Last week we looked toward the future and talked about taking bold steps to get there….today we deal with the very practical question of “how to get started from where I am right this minute.” If we are going to experience the life that God has for us, we have to start now – today we see what we have to do first.

It does not matter who you are…It does not matter what stage of life you are in …It doesn’t matter what happened yesterday…We all need something to keep us moving forward
The future is not a haphazard jumble of confusing contingencies… anything but – your future is a God designed path that is waiting for you to start living. So even before all the holiday decorations are put away, we begin to put the year that was behind us and get moving into the future. Are you ready? We gotta go!
