Strong, reliable and hard are all words that describe rocks. If you drill down deeper you find the word is also rich in minerals, metaphors and even movement wrapped around it. Today we begin this series and are reminded that rocks can have important meaning in understanding how God works in our lives. Get ready to rock! Remembering Rocks!
It is a very special time of year. Spring has arrived and people move from the chill of Winter into the warmth of new starts and fresh beginnings. God is and has always been a God of new starts and fresh beginnings and today, we discover how much we have to be thankful for as we celebrate March Madness in the month of April.
In our Creature Feature series we are looking at the monsters that threaten to ruin and destroy our lives. We found out last week they are creatures that lurk within our hearts that must be dealt with so we can become the best version of ourselves. “Guilt” was called a Gorilla in our first session. Guilt is best described as living with an attitude of “I owe you.” As we studied, we exposed guilt to the light and found out that our debts have been paid by Jesus. In this follow up, we take another step and in Gorilla Buster find out how to make sure the gorilla of guilt, goes away and stays away… forever.

Some have dealt with it, some have tried and failed, and others have been able to move beyond it. Like a gorilla it moves through our lives and threatens us and intimidates us… perhaps those days can be over.
