The Champion’s Honor – Rise Above (Session Three)
We are discovering what we have called The Champion’s Code. The series is Rise Above – because in order to become what we are created to be, to live by the Champion’s Code, we must choose to rise above the crowd and become something radically different than what the rest of the world might demand. The reality for a person who is truly a champion is that they live in the paradox between service and greatness. Today we discover again that greatness and real honor only comes in our willingness to serve. Your quest for greatness continues today ….
The Invisible Champion – Rise Above (Session Two)
We kicked off the Rise Above series with an honest look at the greatest battle we all face – the war within ourselves. We discovered that the key to being a champion is discovering peace. Once you have peace you are then prepared to fight! But as champions we need to know what we carry into the fight. In this study we explore that very concept. The true champion knows that lesser opponents will depend upon bows and arrows but the weapon of a warrior that is truly a champion is wisdom. So get ready, we are plunging into a passage of Scripture that most people have never stopped to explore. On this day, the passage will no longer be invisible and what we see can change everything.

In this 3rd delivery, we witness Jesus revealing His divine glory before His disciples—a scene that feels ripped straight from an X-Files episode! Why the X-Files? Well in cultural understanding the X-Files was a television show built around a real world scenario of cases, too mysterious to comprehend, and cases that seemed to have no clear answer in the world of law enforcement becoming cases labeled with an X. This passage of scripture has been looked at, studied, and debated for years, but today you will discover why it matters to you! It can only happen here in The Jesus Times.

The Jesus Times
The Jesus Times is a series about Jesus. That should be obvious from the title, but it is built upon the idea expressed in Hebrews 13:8 – Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
What that verse tells us, and this is good news, is that the Jesus we discover in the pages of Scripture is the same Jesus who calls us and loves us today, and that is never going to change. Every snapshot we get in the life and times of Jesus then give us a glimpse of the past, which impacts our present, and defines our future. And that is really good news! So this series is a brief look into the life and times of Jesus!
