Today we wrap up our EXTREME series. In many ways, it has stretched and challenged us all as we have looked at what faith looks like in our culture, what the role of the church is, and what ministry is supposed to be for each of us. Our last stop in the series takes us to the brink with Extreme Tenacity. Both words in the title are strong words but when placed side by side are explosive. Get ready, we are going to once again explore what following Jesus looks like and how we can be most successful in doing it.

The series is called Extreme. It is forcing us to come face to face with the question – “Am I willing to live out the extreme calling of Jesus or have I become to civilized to be extreme?”
The message of Scripture is an extreme battle cry – it is a call to move forward – and to fight for the heart of your King. If you are serious about embracing the Extreme Way then you have to learn to recognize the revolt that is unfolding and run toward it, instead of away from it. Why? What if we were to take Jesus seriously as He calls us to be “grinders”?
What if we were to return to the truth about faith that Jesus taught us?
What if we let go of sanitized and civilized Christianity and decided to live out the powerful and real faith that chooses revolution over compromise, risk over safety, and passion over lukewarm, watered-down religion?
Well, those are a lot of “what ifs” and the conclusion has to be found in this answer – “Well, if we did those “what ifs” it would be pretty extreme!
Yes, you are correct – it would be in a word – extreme…which is exactly who you were created to be!
