Today in our time of worship in the Word we will continue to chase that idea. Generosity begins with recognizing that everything belongs to God. Generosity reveals and reshapes the condition of our hearts. Generosity is a different word and understanding what it really means frees us up to discover joy. A Giver and the Gift – The Echo of Generosity (Session One)
It is going to be a great day! Today we begin a brand new series called The Echo of Generosity. If you want to discover the strength that God gives we must discover joy – when we discover joy we become generous. So, if you are going to be a follower of Jesus, generosity has to become part of your spiritual DNA. Today we find out about the importance of A Giver and the Gift, you may meet a person in Scripture today you have never heard of, but once you hear his story, you will never forget him. Because, his echo of generosity can still be heard today. In his story we discover the value of a gift and how the real blessing is given to the one who gives it. Get ready, it will be the start of a perspective and life shaping series as we move into the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
The Echo of Generosity
The Echo of Generosity explores how generosity transforms more than our finances—it reshapes our hearts, strengthens our faith, blesses others, and advances God’s kingdom. Generosity whether we realize it or not, bounces back, echoes through our lives and the lives of others, and blesses the world.
Because God has generously given to us through Jesus, we are invited to live with open hands rather than closed fists. This series will challenge the church to see giving not as an obligation, but as an act of worship, trust, obedience, and participation in God’s mission.
Together, we’ll discover that generosity creates a ripple effect: it changes the giver, meets real needs, builds community, and points people toward the generous heart of God.
When we live generously, God uses what we give to create an impact far beyond what we can see.
Generosity begins with recognizing that everything belongs to God.
Giving reveals and reshapes the condition of our hearts.
Trusting God frees us from fear and scarcity.
Generosity blesses both the giver and the recipient.
Our giving becomes part of God’s work in the world.

The Strength of a Champion – Rise Above (Session Five)
Today we conclude our series entitled Rise Above with the last installment, The Strength of a Champion. Each week of the study we have been introducing you to The Champions Code and each ingredient is essential to living life like the champion you are created to be. Peace, wisdom, service, ownership, and today we add strength. Each one is necessary and interconnects with the others. Once you have the pieces to put together, it is easier to start living life a higher level, you can Rise Above the crowd and be who you were created to be.
The Champion’s Honor – Rise Above (Session Three)
We are discovering what we have called The Champion’s Code. The series is Rise Above – because in order to become what we are created to be, to live by the Champion’s Code, we must choose to rise above the crowd and become something radically different than what the rest of the world might demand. The reality for a person who is truly a champion is that they live in the paradox between service and greatness. Today we discover again that greatness and real honor only comes in our willingness to serve. Your quest for greatness continues today ….
The Invisible Champion – Rise Above (Session Two)
We kicked off the Rise Above series with an honest look at the greatest battle we all face – the war within ourselves. We discovered that the key to being a champion is discovering peace. Once you have peace you are then prepared to fight! But as champions we need to know what we carry into the fight. In this study we explore that very concept. The true champion knows that lesser opponents will depend upon bows and arrows but the weapon of a warrior that is truly a champion is wisdom.
