Worrying About the Question – Questions from the Carpenter (Session Three)

Today, as we countdown to Easter on this Palm Sunday we continue our series called, Questions from a Carpenter. We are exploring some important questions that were asked by Jesus in the pages of Scripture. We have already found out that Jesus sure does ask good questions! His questions can change our lives. This third installment of the series drops us into the longest conversation that Jesus ever has about human emotion. It is fascinating to consider the emotion He chose to spend the most time talking about. But it is even more amazing that tucked into the conversation Jesus asks, not one, not two, not even three … no – He asks EIGHT questions! Those are the questions we explore and learn from this morning. Get ready, it will be fun.

Seeing the Question – Questions from the Carpenter (Session Two)

We are counting down to Easter and along the way are dropping in on conversations that Jesus has with others. We discovered last week while Jesus is the answer, He also asks a lot of questions. In those questions we make some great discoveries about who we are supposed to be. We find out what Jesus has created us to be. And perhaps most importantly we are finding that the questions He is asking really do help us find the answers we are all so desperately seeking. The question we look at today happens at a dinner gathering. It is question that races to the heart and refuses to let go. Get ready, today we are going to see the question.

Welcome to Decision Valley. How does that sound to you? Decision, decisions, decisions…While it might sound intimidating, this valley is not a place of fear; rather, it offers us a unique opportunity to take personal inventory, to realign our lives, and to make decisions that invite God’s blessings. In this excursion, we will explore how Decision Valley can transform our lives when we approach it with the right mindset.
